DNSist: terms of service
Terms of service
Terms of service for using the DNSIST secondaries are still being
worked on. The goal for these terms is mainly to protect
the integrity of the service and the sanity of the operator(s).
Potential terms include:
- reasonable use: DNSist is intended for secondary service
for domains of reasonable load and size. If your domain is going
to consume great amounts of resources, it's probably not a candidate
here (and you probably know it, right?).
- non-abuse: Members engaging in abusive Internet behaviour,
including tolerating spam, hosting spamvertised sites, hosting DNS
for spam havings, and other analogous things, will not be welcome.
Ditto for anything that attracts lots of abuse reports.
- upkeep: Members should keep their DNS secondary configurations
clean: causing lots of uncorrected errors will get service terminated.
- payment: If you are being charged, failure to pay will
get service terminated.
